Bath salt – properties
While standard table salt could irritate the skin during bathing and do more harm than good, there are other salts designed for body care. Bathing with salt is great for relaxation, relaxation and cleansing, relieves various types of dermatological problems and pains, smooths the skin and removes dead skin cells, provides the right pH. Salts are overflowing with minerals with beneficial, nourishing properties, such as magnesium, sodium, potassium and calcium.

Types of salts for bathing – which to choose?
We choose bath salts according to their properties and what we want to gain from them. And so recommended primarily are such salts as:
- Sea salt – great for scrubs in fine and coarse-grained form, you can mix it with essential oils, recommended for aromatherapy;
- Himalayan salt – one of the healthiest, very pure, has a slightly pink color, relieves skin irritation, acne, firms the skin, reduces cellulite, has a detoxifying effect and lowers blood pressure;
- Dead Sea salt – ideal for rheumatic pains, dry skin, psoriasis and eczema, cleanses the skin;
- Epsom salt – from the UK; has a relaxing effect, gets rid of fatigue, soothes skin irritation, great for atopic dermatitis and psoriasis.
Each of them can be found in either sachets or jars of various capacities. In addition, they come in many fragrances, such as rose, lavender, jasmine and forest. Before buying, however, let’s pay attention to their composition, because, as you know – a cosmetic is not equal to a cosmetic. It should be as natural as possible, even if it contains flower petals or dried fruits.
Bath salt is also relatively cheap, and used regularly will give visible results. Which one will you choose this evening? One thing is certain – you will not only take care of your skin, but also soothe your senses and get away from the chaos of everyday life.
