Women love to change their hair color. However, popular hair dyes have a negative effect on hair strands. There are natural ways to change the shade of your hair
There are natural home remedies, which can spruce up, brighten or darken your hair. However, there is no chance for dramatic changes (e.g. hair colouring cannot change from brown or black to blonde and vice versa). However, if you are afraid of chemical hair dyes, which may harm your hair and weaken it, and you would like to change your look, then natural hair colouring is the right choice
If you want to strengthen and enhance the natural shade of your hair strands – you can do it with the help of herbal rinses.
If you have light hair, you can make it a little brighter and shinier by pouring some brewed chamomile (4 sachets of chamomile to 1 liter of water) over your hair. If you want to further moisturize your hair, you can use a lemon brightening combined with honey. Mix the juice of a whole lemon with 2-3 tablespoons of honey. Apply the mixture all over your hair. Leave it for a few hours and then wash it out thoroughly
If you want to darken or emphasize dark hair, it is worth making a rinse from oak bark. All you need to do is to pour 3 glasses of water over 4 spoons of bark and boil it. After it cools down dip your hair in the water and rinse it for a few minutes. The hair should be slightly darkened and the color more intense.
Brunettes may also rinse their hair with black turnip juice, which is available at many pharmacies and beauty stores. Simply apply the juice to the entire length of your hair and leave it there for several minutes. Then wash your hair (you can use shampoo made of black turnip).
Ladies who have dark and curly hair may use castor oil. All you need to do is apply it to your hair before bedtime and wash it thoroughly in the morning. Not only will it darken the strands, but it will accentuate the curl and add rigidity to the hair.
A rhubarb dye works well for blondes. To do this natural hair coloring you need:
All the ingredients are mixed together. When you get a fairly thick slurry, add a little hot water. Stir vigorously until the mixture is quite smooth and creamy. Leave it for about 15 minutes and add hot water again. Then apply the mixture on your hair after shampooing. For a better effect you can put on a foil cap and a towel. Wash the hair after about 30 minutes.
Owners of brown and dark hair can highlight and enhance their color with walnut shell paint. To prepare it you need:
Grind the shells, add vinegar and oil and some hot water. Stir vigorously, leave for a few minutes and add water again until a smooth paste is formed. Apply the mixture to the washed hair and leave it for about 15-20 minutes before thoroughly rinsing it out. After this treatment, our hair strands should be a ton darker and the color more intense.
