Every lover of long, relaxing baths probably loves adding a bit of gel, salt or other specifics to the water, which produces foam, cares for the skin or smells wonderful. Sometimes, however, you just don’t have the right remedy at home to enrich your baths. Therefore, in this article we have prepared a recipe for you to make your own bath balls!

Bath balls – how to make?

  • a glass of baking soda
  • half a glass of citric acid
  • fragrance oil
  • spoon of coconut oil
  • molds or small bowls

Pour a cup of baking soda into a bowl, followed by half a cup of citric acid. Mix and add a tablespoon of coconut oil and a few drops of fragrance oil. Mix everything together, and then using a spoon or your hands, place the mixture into a ball-shaped mold, kneading well. If you do not have such molds, you can choose those for baking cakes, ice cream or just small bowls. After filling the containers, wait 24 hours for the mixture to dry. After this time you can make a hot bath using your balls!

To add a little variety to your bath balls, you can add dyes, dried flowers, lavender or a variety of essential oils to them.
