On the make-up market, mineral cosmetics have been known for a long time. The beauty industry is developing at a very fast pace and offers customers more and more innovative solutions. How do I apply mineral cosmetics? Read our article to find out!
Mineral cosmetics are very popular because of their formulation. Mineral products come in the form of colored shadows, foundations, bronzers, blushes and highlighters. However, improper application leads to dry skin or makeup weighing down. How to remedy this?
Mineral cosmetics have a powdered or pressed formula. The undoubted advantage is the composition – mineral products do not contain chemical substances and harmful parabens. These cosmetics protect the skin against harmful UV radiation. Therefore, you can safely use them during the summer without worrying that your skin will be dry or burnt. Cosmetics that we use every day, sometimes contain mineral oil in their composition, which contributes to clogging of pores and formation of pimples on the skin.
The advantage of using mineral products is that they can be used for normal, dry, oily and combination skin. Their delicate formula prevents the formation of a mask effect, which often occurs after applying several layers of liquid products. Allergic skin is not a challenge for them as the cosmetics have healing properties. Moreover, they reduce sebum secretion
Due to their natural composition, mineral cosmetics are recommended for pregnant women. During this period one should avoid highly processed products and cosmetics containing chemical substances. Natural products are therefore a great solution for breastfeeding women and those expecting a baby
The most popular method is to apply loose or pressed foundation with a brush. Before starting your make-up remember to apply a moisturizer, which is a base that prolongs the durability of each product. It is equally important to cleanse your skin thoroughly every day. Oil-based cosmetics work well. They can even remove waterproof products.
For foundation application, the Hakuro H55 brush will work best. Its pointed shape will help you apply the product thoroughly. Use circular motions to distribute the product evenly. Don’t work in one spot for a long time so that you don’t remove the product from your face
Another way is to apply foundation wet. This will give us more coverage and is ideal if you currently have a problem with visible imperfections. As above, use a Hakuro H55 brush or another brush of a similar shape. It is acceptable to dampen the brush with hydrolate. Make sure that the brush is not wet but moist when applying.
Lastly, another popular method is to use a damp beauty blender sponge. The shape of the sponge allows you to reach into the eye area and around the nose.
