Nails, hair and skin are your business card, so it is worth taking care of them. Daily care is very important. To maintain beautiful and shiny hair or healthy nails you will need cosmetics. However, it is also worth taking care of other factors that contribute to improving their appearance.

A healthy and balanced diet

A healthy diet strongly supports the fight against split nails or dry skin. Not all ladies know that in addition to regenerating cosmetics, it is worth taking care of a diet full of vitamins and minerals. Take care of what lands on your plate. Then you will certainly feel beautiful and quickly notice changes in the appearance of the skin or nail plate.

The right diet for hair, skin and nails is one that includes:

  • vegetables and fruits that have antioxidants that fight free radicals, as well as vitamins and minerals necessary for skin or hair building;
  • at least 1.5 liters of water a day – our body is made up of 80 per cent water, so it is essential for proper functioning; the right amount of water in the diet also has an impact on skin hydration and hair appearance – they become more resilient and easier to manage; when we do not drink enough water, it accumulates in the form of lymphatic stagnation, the skin becomes less firm and visibly swollen
  • whole-grain bread – grains contain zinc, which is the building block of the skin and nails, thanks to it hair strands are much stronger, but also the skin has a protective barrier;
  • polyunsaturated fatty acids – they can be found in fish, seafood, as well as grains and oils; they have a positive effect on all organs and the circulatory system.

Oils instead of expensive cosmetics

Oiling your hair and rubbing yourself with olive oil instead of lotion are increasingly common practices. Oils retain moisture inside the strands and skin, making them more hydrated. Of course, this is a less expensive way to care for yourself. However, oils can have a very positive effect on the appearance of the skin or nails.

It is worth using, among others:

  • sweet almond oil – rebuilds hair roots, is hypoallergenic, reduces skin inflammation;
  • argan oil – maintains the skin’s constant pH, protects against UV radiation, prevents hair from splitting and breaking, is full of antioxidants
  • black cumin oil – has a large amount of zinc and potassium, is suitable for lubricating the skin, but also the nails and cuticles.

Facial and scalp massage

Massage can have a very good effect on our body, but also on the condition of our skin and hair. Cosmetologists recommend massage as a kind of therapy to nourish the skin, including the hair roots. Many skin care rituals, including those related to scalp care, begin with a massage. Massage improves the blood supply to the skin, which in turn supplies it with more nutrients. Self-massage is effective in daily skin care. When applying cream or mask to the face, it is worth to gently massage it into the skin so as to lift its oval. All movements should be repeated to deepen the effect. This is the cheapest and easiest way to take care of your beauty.

Oxygenation of the body

Physically active people have a much more radiant complexion, but also feel better about themselves. Movement undoubtedly affects health, but it can also significantly improve the appearance of the skin. More oxygen reaches it and other organs, which improves their functioning.

Washing in boiled or filtered water

You’ve probably noticed when bathing somewhere other than where you live that the water is slightly different. It has more or less scale. It has its good points, but washing your hair in water with scale can lead to it becoming stiffer and harder to comb. Some ladies choose to bathe only in boiled or filtered water to help maintain healthy skin and hair
